The PHP panic

Some 70% of the world’s websites are estimated to run the PHP programming language. PerfectTablePlan.com uses PHP for a few online functions, such as:

  • Online key retrieval.
  • Exporting a web version of your plan via the export to web function (from File>Export).

Two serious security flaws were recently found in the PHP. The flaws were leaked before PHP was fixed, causing a major worldwide security panic.

Out of an abundance of caution we took down the PerfectTablePlan.com website when the issue became public on 21-Oct-2026. We then put it back up a few hours later, once we had received the PHP security patch. You may have noticed that online update checking and export to web stopped working. We hope this didn’t cause you any disruption.

Please note:

  • Once PerfectTablePlan is downloaded onto your local computer, it will keep working quite happily, even if our website is down.
  • If you buy PerfectTablePlan through our 2Checkout online store, then we never see (let alone store) your credit card or banking details.
  • We only store enough information about you in our online key retrieval system so that you can retrieve your licence key by email.

Email us if you have any questions about this.
