COVID19

It goes without saying that 2020 has been a rough year for everyone in the events industry. We saw a massive drop in sales, almost overnight. But things are slowly starting to pick up. We remain financially secure and will still be here when this is all over. Our hearts go out to all the venues and event planning companies who will have been hit a lot harder than us.

To help with COVID19 we have added new seat spacing and social distancing checks into v6.1.0. Seat spacing is a visual check for how close seats are, similar to the existing table spacing check. The social distancing check will tell you if 2 people from different groups are seated closer than the specified distance.

You can also use existing PerfectTablePlan features to record guest details and seating in case you later need them for track and trace.

If you have any other ideas about we can help with mitigating COVID19, please let us know.

New Apple Chips Announced

Apple have announced that they will start shipping Macs with new ARM-based processors at the end of this year. We plan to support the new Macs, just as we supported the move from PowerPC to Intel chips previously.
