PerfectTablePlan v6 survey

We released PerfectTablePlan v5 way back in 2012. We have put out 15 public releases of v5 since then, with loads of new features and improvements (see the news page for details).

We are now girding our loins ready to start on PerfectTablePlan v6. We have got lots of ideas for further improvements, many of which have come from customer feedback.

There are some things we are definitely going to add to v6 and some things we definitely aren't going to add. But there are quite a few features we haven't decided on yet. So please help us decide which features to add by taking our survey.

v6 survey

There are 23 suggested features. Please rate each one on a scale of 0 (not interested) to 5 (very interested). Just leave any questions you aren't sure about. There is also an extra question at the end for anything else you can think of.

We don't have the time or resources to implement every feature. So please don't rate everything as a 5, as that won't help us prioritize features! The survey closes at the end of Monday 30th April.

Privacy

Privacy issues have been very much in the news recently with the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica scandal and the incoming EU GDPR legislation. Consequently we have updated our privacy page to make it clear what data we store about you and where we store it. In short:

  • We store some data about customers. For example we store details of your licence key, so we can reissue your key if you lose it.
  • We take care to keep this information safe and only use the services of reputable third party suppliers.
  • We never receive any sensitive financial details (e.g. credit card numbers) from our payment processor.
  • We will never sell your data to a third party.

We also switched our website from http://www.perfecttableplan.com to https://www.perfecttableplan.com some time back for more secure browsing.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about privacy.

Hyper Plan

We think PerfectTablePlan is great for planning seating. But there are lots of other types of planning it can't help with, including: project management, todo lists, staff rosters, scheduling and tracking sales prospects. So for all that other stuff we created Hyper Plan, a flexible visual planner for Windows and Mac.

Hyper Plan is perfect when sticky notes or Excel aren't enough, but you don't want the cost and complexity of traditional project management software. It also works well with modern "agile" approaches to planning, such as Kanban and Scrum.

Hyper Plan

You can find out more by watching the 1.5 minute video here.

You can buy a Hyper Plan licence from just $40/£25 (one time fee). There is a fully-functional 7 day free trial.
