Any barcode scanner that emulates an additional keyboard on your PC/Mac should be suitable for use with PerfectTablePlan Professional edition. Typically these scanners will connect to your computer via a USB cable or 'dongle'.
We have tested PerfectTablePlan with the Opticon C37 barcode scanner. The scanner connects into the USB port on your PC or Mac via a cable.
However there are probably cheaper and better alternatives now, including wireless scanners. Try searching Amazon for "USB barcode scanners".
