To create a screen capture on Windows:
- bring the PerfectTablePlan window to the front
- on your keyboard hold down the Alt key and press the Print Scrn key, the screen capture should now be in the ‘clipboard’ (memory)
- start up Microsoft Paint ( access from the Windows Start button via Accessories>Paint )
- in Microsoft Paint select Edit>Paste, the screen capture should now be pasted into Paint
- select File>Save as to save the screen capture to a GIF or JPEG file
To create a screen capture on Mac OS X:
- Press Apple+Shift+3 to create a screenshot of your whole desktop called ‘picture 1.png’ (or similar) on your desktop
Or:
- Use Mac Finder to start Applications/Utilities/Grab.App
- In the Grab menu bar select Capture>Window
- bring the PerfectTablePlan window to the front
- click on the Choose Window button in the Window grab window
- click on the PerfectTablePlan window, the screen capture should now appear in a new Grab window
- select File>Save as to save the screen capture to a TIFF file
- double click on the TIFF file to open it in Preview (or other graphics application)
- select File>Save as to save the screen capture to a GIF or JPEG file
