If you want to edit your floor plan, e.g. to add a dance floor, you can export it in SVG format. However SVG format is quite new and there arent a large number of software packages that support it. Software that claims to be able to edit SVG files include:
Adobe Illustrator (commercial software)
Corel Draw (commercial software)
Inkscape (free software)
We have tested Inkscape with a sample SVG file exported from PerfectTablePlan and it appears to work fine. Note however that there may be some differences in layout, particularly for text. Inkscape is available for both Windows and Macintosh.
Inkscape is an open source software package. It is available free of charge, but you must obey the terms of the Gnu Public Licence. If you find this tool useful we suggest you support them with a small donation.
We are not able to offer any support for third party software. Use of third party software is entirely at your own risk.
