Use the Main tool bar to access common actions. All of these actions are also available through the Menu bar. Many of them are also available as keyboard accelerators, for example +O opens an existing plan file.

Note All of the Main tool bar icons are only displayed if you have selected View>User interface>Expert. Otherwise only icons appropriate to the current task are displayed.

You can also hide the tool bar buttons for basic actions by checking hide new/open/recent/save tool bar icons in the Preferences window

Hint Hover the mouse cursor over a tool bar button to get a tool tip window explaining the action. You can turn tool tips on/off in the Preferences window.
