PerfectTablePlan v4.1
plans
Development
of PerfectTablePlan version 4.1 is well under way. We
are planning some major new features based on customer
feedback.
In particular we are looking at ways to make
PerfectTablePlan more useful to customers who use PerfectTablePlan
frequently and/or for large events. We feel the best way to
achieve this is to split PerfectTablePlan into separate editions,
provisionally named 'Home', 'Power user' and 'Professional'. The
current product will become PerfectTablePlan 'Home' edition. The 'Power
user' and 'Professional' editions will then have additional features
that might over complicate the product for more casual users.
We aren't planning on removing any features
between
v4.0 and v4.1 'Home' edition. Indeed we will continue to
improve
the 'Home' edition. We will also be offering a smooth upgrade path and
preferential rates to customers who wish to upgrade from the current product to the 'Power user'
or 'Professional' editions.
Currently nothing is finalised. We hope to release
PerfectTablePlan v4.1 some time in quarter 2 of 2009. More information
will be available nearer the time.

We
have a gallery of PerfectTablePlan
output images on our website.
We would love to add some more images but we are confident that many of
our customers have more artistic talent than we do. If you have
produced an attractive plan or chart please send
it to us
as a plan (.tp) file or an exported PDF with subject 'Gallery competition'. We are particularly interested
in plans that make good use of the new gradient feature in
PerfectTablePlan v4.0.2.
If we like your plan enough to include it in our
gallery, we will send a free PerfectTablePlan CD and licence key to the
person of your choice. It might make a nice Christmas present for a
friend who is an event planner or someone who is getting married next
year. This offer is open until the end of January 2009.
Another year passes
We
would like to thank all of our customers for another very successful
year
for PerfectTablePlan. We look forward to bringing you lots
more new features and improvements to PerfectTablePlan during 2009.
If you are a programmer (or know someone that is)
you might be interested to know that we have launched a range of T-shirts
for programmers with all profits going to two very worthy
charities: jaipurfoot.org and sightsavers.org
. They would make a perfect Christmas gift for
the computer geek in your life.
Best wishes for the festive season and happy event planning in 2009!
